When Redwall was published in 1987 it catapulted author Brian Jacques to international stardom.
Brian Jacques was an English writer, best known for his Redwall and
Castaways of the Flying Dutchman series. He also completed two
collections of short stories entitled The Ribbajack & Other Curious
Yarns and Seven Strange and Ghostly Tales. Brian has written both
poetry and music, but he began his
writing career in earnest as a playwright. His three stage plays
Brown Bitter, Wet Nellies and Scouse have been performed at the
Everyman Theatre. Brian Jacques was an English writer, best
