Martha Cooper is a photographer with a focus on documenting sub-cultures. After more than fifteen books and countless exhibitions around the world she is one of the most important portrayers of street life and urban culture today. Martha Cooper's previous books include Subway Art, Tag Town, Hip Hop Files, New York State of Mind and Going Postal. She is represented at the 2012 MOCA show Art in the Streets. Aiko Ishikawa is a US-based writer and traveller born in Tokyo and raised in New York City. She has contributed work to international art-driven lifestyle publications such as i-D (UK), Plus 81 (JP) and Surface (US). She is also the former chief editor of Educated Community, a bilingual arts magazine produced in Downtown NY.
