About the Author

JoAnn Wagner was born in New York. She moved to Mesquite, TX, a suburb of Dallas, in 1986. After having worked for 25 years at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, JoAnn began an exciting new career - writing children's books! Her hobbies include writing, reading, cruising, yoga, and water aerobics. JoAnn is married, and between her and her husband they have 5 wonderful children and 6 beautiful, rambunctious grandchildren. The "Sir Pigglesworth's Adventure Series" was born when JoAnn's church gave out a flying pig stress ball for the congregation to take around over the summer and post pictures on Facebook. Everywhere she went people smiled and laughed, and were excited to have their picture taken with Sir Pigglesworth, as she dubbed the pig. The idea blossomed until it became clear that Sir Pigglesworth's adventures needed to be shared with children around the world. JoAnn has done book readings at libraries, schools, day care centers and churches. Sara Dean lives in West Virginia, with her husband and her two kids. She spends her days working as a freelance writer, ghostwriter, editor, and author of her own books. She has written everything from children's books to young adult books and a few adult books as well. She has 13 books published under her own name and has ghostwritten over 100 books for other people.

Sir Pigglesworth is your Ambassador of Fun for kids! This time the cute pig goes to Cozumel for Jo Ann's (Ms. Wagner) birthday surprise. He brings with him Princess Serena, and they all have fun and misadventures on the cruise ship. The frivolity is not limited to the ship, but of course, Cozumel. Your kids will love the fast-paced adventures of Sir Piggleworth. Personally, I advise you get the whole series, as your own globetrotter will want to vicariously experience the books over and over again!
My 3 yr old granddaughter loves the books!!! she can't wait to see what Sir Pigglesworth does next and where he goes.....and it is helping me teach her about listening and doing what we ask of her. The pictures are wonderful. Will be reading to our 4 yr old granddaughter soon.....I'm sure she will love them too!
Great adventure! Fun to read to my nephew but educational at the same time. I just learned they are also available in Spanish! So awesome.

Every child (and likely parent) who reads any of the stories in this series will want their own piglet buddy. Sir Pigglesworth gets the very most out of every experience and opportunity that crosses his path. He is like most kids who have few fears and area excited by life itself. These stories and his current travel to Cozumel is no different. Not only does this fearless piglet get to go all over the world, but he learns about these places without having the struggle. Plant the seeds for learning, exploring, and adventure with your children or grandchildren. It is time well spent. I highly recommend it and the whole series.
