Johan Roeland (1977) obtained his masters degree in Theology. He worked as a PhD candidate at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology (Faculty of Social Sciences) of VU University Amsterdam. He is currently affiliated to the Department of Sociology of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
