About the Author

Charles Hauss is a both an accomplished academic and peace activist. He is government liaison and emeritus member of the Board of Directors at the Alliance for Peacebuilding, Washington, D.C.

Security 2.0: Dealing with Global Wicked Problems is an important book. The complex, unstructured nature of wicked problems means that reductionist, stovepiped approaches are unlikely to be effective in addressing them. This is particularly true given the intertwined nature of problems such as peace and war, the environment, sustainability, and global health.
