"The words salad for cookbook might fill you with dread, but this
one is unique. A creative project with beautiful illustrations,
recipes are interspersed with interviews with artists and
activists. A great coffee table book as well as a cookbook." -- BBC
Good Food Magazine
"Sherman's recipes are the result of collaborations with artists,
musicians, writers or someone in the creative field, using salad in
a broad sense of the term. Quirky chapter titles include Salad in
Sweatpants: Casual Meals for People Who Already Love You, and Salad
on the Rocks: Cocktails, Soups, Desserts and Other Abuses of the
Format. Salad for President is a visionary, inspirational and, most
of all, a fun book." -- Sunday Times Ireland
"Based on the popular blog by the same name, this aesthetically
pleasing collection of over 75 recipes, interviews and
contributions from artists and other creative professionals will
revolutionise your approach to salad making, inspiring you to
consider salads from a fresh angle." -- Easy Food
