Ross Biddiscombe has written a dozen non-fiction sports books and Ryder Cup Revealed is his third golf title; his previous two both studied the European Tour Qualifying School and were published under the Golf On The Edge brand name. He published his first book - a guide to the rules of American football - in 1984 and has since written titles about the business of sport and the official encyclopedia of Manchester United FC. Ross has been a journalist and writer for over 30 years. He has written for newspapers such as The Guardian and The Independent and contributed to sports magazines ranging from Sport Business to Golf Monthly. In his career, he has interviewed great sporting stars from Muhammed Ali and George Best to Sir Steve Redgrave and Seve Ballesteros. He has also worked both in sports radio and television during which time he was both a commentator and reporter/producer. Ross lives in London with his wife Kate and has always been a keen sportsman, running total of five marathon and is currently trying hard to return his golfing handicap back to single figures.
