Joanne Larner was born in London and moved to Essex in 2001, where she lives with her husband and three dogs. They have two sons and have just become grandparents. Joanne always enjoyed writing fiction, but mainly created short stories. However, in 2013, she was inspired by the documentary about the discovery of Richard III, The King in the Car Park, and this led to her writing her first novel, Richard Liveth Yet, which was well received. She has just completed the sequel, Richard Liveth Yet (Book II): A Foreign Country and has already started work on the final part of the series, Richard Liveth Yet (Book III): Hearts Never Change.
