New York Times best-selling author Goudge delivers a character-driven contemporary romance with an intriguing premise. When Camille Hart, a successful Manhattan matchmaker and mother of two, learns her cancer is terminal, she employs her professional expertise to find her husband another wife. Having lost her own mother at an early age, Camille can't bear the thought of her daughters being raised alone by their father, a loving but very busy doctor. VERDICT Susan Boyce's smooth delivery and sunny voice bring Goudge's well-developed, likable characters to life, but the plot is thin and somewhat trying. Recommended primarily for Goudge's many fans.-Beth Farrell, Cleveland State Univ. Law Lib. (c) Copyright 2012. Library Journals LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc.
