Janine Hayward and Chris Rudd are senior lecturers in the Department of Political Studies at the University of Otago. They have previously published together in books and journals on the topic of political communications. Chris is co-author of The Politics and Government of New Zealand (2004) and co-editor of State and Economy in New Zealand (1993) and The Political Economy of New Zealand (1997). Janine is editor of Local Government and the Treaty of Waitangi (2003).
