Donald Plumb was formerly Director of Pharmacy Services and Hospital Director at the University of Minnesota's Veterinary Medical Center. Now retired from the University of Minnesota, he focuses full-time on providing veterinary drug information to veterinarians, other health professionals, and animal caretakers.
"Every veterinary practice could easily make use of this latest edition of Plumb's veterinary drug handbook." (Australian Veterinary Journal, 26 October 2015) "With the new trend of owners "self-medicating" their pets, you will certainly find the "drug store" toxins in the small animals' chapter very useful if only to prevent accidents by informing the owners of the risks. Time to trade your blue model for a red one!" (Vet Nurses Today, 1 October 2015) "Like previous editions, the eighth edition of this formulary is an excellent resource for veterinary students, veterinary technicians, general practitioners, specialists, and pharmacists. It is a very helpful tool in the day-to-day practice of veterinary medicine and will be a great asset to anyone providing veterinary care." (Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association, 15 June 2015)
