""Pause Power" is a clever book that conceptualizes our emotions
taking over with actual buttons being pressed. Easy to employ
strategies will help students learn to stop, calm down, and think
when faced with common triggers. "Pause Power" is an excellent tool
for small group counseling that focuses on emotion control with
anger, frustration, or worry." - Nicole Moore, Professional School
Counselor
"Pause Power is a good resource for teaching 3rd through 5th
graders about impulsivity and consequences of reacting versus
pausing and thinking before reacting. The visual of buttons is very
helpful and the kids really got the idea." - SF Midwest Teacher
"I am eager to use&nbps;Pause Power with the students. The
story makes the concept of pushing buttons concrete through words
and illustrations! With several calm-down strategies provided,
students will be empowered to find the one that works for them.
Pause Power$nbsp;would be a great addition to any school counseling
library." - Melissa Sitzmann, elementary school counselor
