Born in Tokyo, Suzuko Koseki graduated from Bunka Fashion College. In 1978, she entered Chuck's Patchwork School, where she studied with Chuck Nohara. In 1985, she was one of fifty exhibitors at Quilt Japan. At present, she teaches in Japan at the main school of the Heart and Hands Patchwork School, as well as Asahi Cultural Centre and the Vogue Quilt Institute.
