Fresh, funny and full of the voices of today's children Over to You! Poems and Scripts with Performance Tips is a rich source book for creative practitioners working with juniors age 7-11. Over to You! is Cath's new Key Stage 2 literacy and drama book. In the past, Cath struggled to find up-to-date drama texts that primary children could relate to, so she began writing her own performance pieces based on the children she encountered every day and their real feelings and experiences. This new book assembles all the vibrant monologues, duologues and performance poetry that Cath has developed with primary children in schools, assemblies and drama festivals. This is a fun, engaging and educational collection, that will give both creative practitioners and students between 7 and 11, fresh performance-based material to work with. There are fantastic suggestions for further activities and helpful tips for memorising and performing confidently. "Drama scripts that are accessible and dramatically inspiring!" --Drama Festival Judge, Kingston Upon Thames "I love 'the secret guinea pig attack' poem, it only took me a day to learn it!...I love working with Cath's scripts. It's like she can see inside our heads." --Year 5 pupil "Captivating" --Year 5 teacher "A go-to book for ideas. The 'over to you' sections are fantastic!" --Year 6 teacher
