I?m a firefighter, God, so I know I?ve been in some tough places before. But this . . . this not knowing the people I love . . . this is the hardest thing I can imagine.< br> < br> The last thing Jake Bryan knew was the roar of the World Trade Center collapsing on top of him and his fellow firefighters. The man in the hospital bed remembers nothing. Not rushing with his teammates up the stairway of the south tower to help trapped victims. Not being blasted from the building. And not the woman sitting by his bedside who says she is his wife.< br> < br> Jamie Bryan will do anything to help her beloved husband regain his memory, and with it their storybook family life with their small daughter, Sierra. But that means helping Jake rediscover the one thing Jamie has never shared with him: his deep faith in God.< br> < br> Jake's fondest prayer for his wife is about to have an impact beyond anything he could possibly have conceived. One Tuesday Morning is a love story like none you have ever read: tender, poignant, commemorating the tragedy and heroism of September 11 and portraying the far-reaching power of God's faithfulness and a good man's love.

This story breaks your heart. It takes you directly into the tragedy that was 9/11 and gives you an idea into what sort of suffering the people affected must have gone through. You will find yourself aching with Jamie Bryan, the main character of the story, as she sees the tower come down and rejoicing when she finds out that her husband survives. Or did he? Although you can see where the story line is heading you still get caught up in the all drama and I guarantee you will cry buckets. You will feel as if you have lived the tragedy yourself after reading this book. Through it all there is the lovely message of the hope that is found in God's everlasting love.

I would definitely recommend this book to all.

This is a tear-jerker of a book. When Jamie's husband can't remember anything, even though the end of the book is predictable, the reader will find themself wanting him to be Jake! Jamie's desperation is communicated so brilliantly - when reading you truly feel as if you are her, upon finishing the book you feel you have experienced what she has been through.
Absolutely superbly written!
