Commissioned to write his first book in 2003, a 512-page volume on the history of US military vehicles, since that time over 100 of his books have been published. While most of these concern historic military hardware, including aircraft and warships, his volumes on military vehicles, meticulously researched by David and his wife Denise, remain the genre for which he is most recognized. This recognition reached its pinnacle in June 2015, when he was presented the coveted Bart Vanderveen Award by the Military Vehicle Preservation Association, given in recognition of "...the individual who has contributed the most to the historic preservation of military vehicles worldwide."
In one publication you can expect detailed info about several versions of MRAP, which are accompanied with detailed photos. Of course, such reference guide will be a valuable addition to your build project, and I would recommend to get it if you are interested in modern military vehicles. * DetailScaleView * All in all, a title not to be missed by the modern vehicle enthusiast and an indispensable reference for anyone looking to tackle the Kinetic or Bronco 1/35-scale kits. * Military Modelcraft International * More photo album than history book...complete with comprehensively captioned full-page colour photographs. * Classic Military Vehicle Magazine * This is a superbly produced and very interesting book.
