The dashing Viscount proposes a marriage in name only . . . in New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Sabrina Jeffries' sexy historical romanceAbigail Mercer was thrilled at being reunited with Spencer Law, whom she met once and later married by proxy. But now Viscount Ravenswood denies all knowledge of their union! Too many witnesses have made it impossible for the secretive Spencer to reject his bride without causing a scandal. So he has proposed a marriage in name only until they can locate his mysteriously absent younger brother-who is responsible for everything!-and untangle this messy affair.Abigail is incensed, irate . . . and irresistibly attracted to this handsome, infuriating man who hides his smoldering passion behind a proper exterior. So the lady will agree to his terms on one condition: Spencer must seal their bargain with a kiss. But he finds that one deep, lingering, unforgettable kiss isn't nearly enough. And keeping his hands off his pretty wife is going to be much harder than he thought.

About the Author

At the tender age of twelve, Sabrina Jeffries decided she wanted to be a romance writer. It took her eighteen more years and a boring stint in graduate school before she sold her first book, but now her sexy and humorous historical romances routinely land on the USA Today and New York Times bestseller lists and have won several awards. She lives in North Carolina with her husband and son, where she writes full-time and is working on her next novel.

"Sabrina Jeffries is a treasure!" -- Rexanne Becnel "Powerful Romance." -- Rexanne Becnel "One luscious romance filled with sensuous moments that will make your heart beat a little faster." -- The Oakland Press, MI "Another winner from Sabrina Jeffries - it sizzles with passion, humor, and adventure. You won't want it to end!" -- Christina Dodd "An intriguing premise...and well-drawn characters...add interest to this lively...occasionally bawdy romp." -- Library Journal "Dance of Seduction is a treasure of a book, written with wit, charm and burning sensuality. This skillfully written novel is an absolute pleasure to read. Anyone who loves romance must read Sabrina Jeffries!" -- Lisa Kleypas, author of Lady Sophia's Lover

sabrina Jeffries is an author who consistently writes very good romance books that interest the reader with a great story line, good characterisations and lots of steamy romance. This book follows in that vain with a great balance between frivolous interactions and deeper angst and emotional questions that need to be sorted before the two protagonists can come together in true love.
Sian McEwen on
When Abigail walks into Spencer Law's dining room and tells everyone there that she is his wife, he cannot throw her out without causing a scandal. Promising everything with just one kiss, this book is yet another of Sabrina Jeffries fantastic stories! If you haven't discovered Sabrina Jeffries yet, you are in for a real treat!
Amy La Rooy on
Sabrina Jeffries is a great storyteller. Her stories are witty with a touch of intrigue and characters you are sure to love. Oh but don’t let me forget the romance, she is quite able to make you laugh out loud in one chapter but be in tears the next. Anything can happen in a marriage by proxy that the groom had no knowl;edge of until his "bride" showed up on his doorstep. Another great thing is you don’t have to say goodbye to your favourite characters, as they tend to re-appear in the various books. If you’ve never read one of her books then please do, if you have and found you enjoy her books, trust me this one will not be an exception.
