This is an excellent book that I use on a weekly basis, along with other Donna Hay books. There are basic mixes such as dough that can be used for a variety of meals, easy to make a double lot one day and use for recipes over two subsequent days. I find that if I don't have an ingredient, I can still make the recipe with easy substitutions; it isn't a 'follow to the letter' book. I use it as a source of ideas and tailor it to our tastes and ingredients on hand. The super fast ideas are wonderful too, they may use some already cooked, purchased items but they make something special in themselves. There are recipes for all tastes, including those of my preschoolers. An excellent book that I am getting lots of use out of.
