Gailute Urbonaite-Narkeviciene received her Masters degree in Linguistics from the University of Vilnius, Lithuania, and also later taught in the Department of Lithuanian Studies. She served as a principal of the Boston Lithuanian School and belongs to the Lithuanian Board of Education of the Lithuanian-American Community. She has previously co-authored, with Loreta Vilkiene, Kalbekime lietuvikai (Beginner's Lithuanian) and currently resides in Danvers, Massachusetts.
