From the reviews of the second edition:"The purpose is to provide an updated overview of currently available lasers to treat various skin conditions ... . The audience is dermatologists. ... Dermatologists contemplating the purchase of a laser would find this book useful. ... I recommend this as a good clinical introduction to understanding how lasers work and the considerations that must be taken into account when choosing a particular laser modality for a particular condition."
