About the Author

Svend Hansen is director of the Eurasia Department of the German Archaeological Institute. Barbara Helwing, former Head of the Iran Branch, is now teaching at the University of Sydney. Bertille Lyonnet coordinated the second partner, the French CNRS with its numerous departments. Guram Mirtskhulava represented the Georgian National Museum. Farhad Guliyev and Tevekk�l Aliyev represented the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Baku. As lead investigators of the collaborative research projects "Ancient Kura" and "Kura in Motion," the editors have brought together a team of international experts who have jointly contributed to new perspectives onto the Prehistory of the Southern Caucasus.
