Jessica Courtney-Tickle is a freelance illustrator currently based in rural Cambridgeshire. She graduated from Kingston University in July 2014 where she found a specialism in picture book illustration. Her work combines vibrant colours with lots of detail and many different, quirky characters. Her love of nature and greenery can be seen in her illustrations of foliage which accompany much of her work.
A sweet picture book, with joyous, candy-coloured images, about
spreading kindness. Edwyn's grandmother takes his kiss and shares
it, reforming the angry, the greedy and the mean-spirited.
*The Sunday Times*
This sumptuous fairytale, filled with everyday magic, is a
testament to the great power of the smallest loving gestures.
*The Guardian*
This is a book that will be part of the process of shaping your
child's view of the world, that will, when they're a little older,
be a warm memory and a nudge to be better, that will be when
they're old enough a thing that, like the kiss, they'll want to
pass on.
*Armadillo Magazine*
Lovely, gentle fairytale story about the transformative power of
love. Catch a kiss, pass it on and see what happens when you do.
The beautiful illustrations make it hugely appealing to be read
aloud. A treat.
*Angels and Urchins*
There's a fairytale feel to this uplifting story of a kiss that
brings smiles and laughter, and the rich man who will do anything
to get it. Gorgeous, radiant art and a foiled cover.
