About the Author

A native Briton, Simon Read lives in the San Francisco Bay area, California, where he works as an award-winning newspaper reporter. His grandfather's experiences as an airgunner with Bomber Command during WWII was the inspiration behind this book. His books, On the House: the Bizarre Killing of Michael Malloy, and In the Dark: The True Story of the Blackout Ripper, were published in the USA.In hardback Killing Skies sold out in six months and was well received both in the UK and the US.
