In this book, Alexia Tala explores and investigates the new experimental forms of printmaking, which are today pushing the traditional boundaries of this technique in contemporary art. These include the usage of photo-emulsion, glass and paper, Perspex and paint stripper, printing with sand and digital prints mounted on relief surfaces. About the Author
Alexia Tala is a visual artist and independent curator with an MA inPrintmaking from Camberwell College of Arts. Her research oncontemporary artists using experimental printmaking techniques ininstallations has uncovered a rapidly expanding movement in England andbeyond. She exhibits internationally and has recently curated severalmajor international events while maintaining a role as a visitinglecturer in art institutions in both her home countries of the UK andChile.
