About the Author

Steve is a Chartered Marketer who graduated in life sciences and ecology - good disciplines for big-picture thinking, he started his career with well known blue-chip companies: Mars, Grand Metropolitan and Gallaher. He has worked with organisations as diverse as Medium and Small enterprises as well as corporations such as BT and HSBC. After more than twenty years in blue chip organisations he has some twenty five years experience in self-employment; he works as a mentor, consultant and strategist with practical experience in outplacement having been outplaced himself, so knows both sides of the desk He has supported redundancy programmes with a number of multinational organisations and for one particular merger achieved more than 92% of people with new jobs inside three months of redundancy; or were billing if self-employed Steve has also published, appeared on BBC Local Radio, teaches management and provides training in development and marketing. He is Programme Director for CMI Training with Business Wealth Ltd.
