Kate Lesley is a writer, publisher, web designer and teacher who knew she was transgendered from the age of four. Kate never regarded it as a problem, but rather as a blessing. Married to an accepting wife who prefers her feminine side, she is the father of two children and she recently became a grandma. Kate is the founder, editor and publisher of FFG Transgender Fiction (TGFiction.co.uk). She started writing transgender stories in 1992, and in 1994 brought out the first edition of 'Tales of Crossdressing', which now runs to ten volumes. Kate has also edited and written stories for 'Tales of the Maid', 'Tales of Sissy School' and 'Forced Femme and Girlhood'. All the stories in 'How Stephen became Stephanie' were originally published in illustrated versions in these magazines between 1994 - 2009. Kate's earliest stories appeared in 'The Beaumont Magazine' and 'Cross-Talk'. Kate gets over to Manchester's Gay Village as often as she can, where she likes hanging out in bars; in fine weather, she enjoys sitting out on Canal Street and watching the incredible spectacle of humankind passing by in an infinite variety of sexualities and genders.
