About the Author

Anthea Simcock has been involved with children for 30 years in educational and child protection roles, including many years working as a therapist with abused and traumatised children. She is the founder and Chief Executive of CPS, a role she has held for 16 years. CPS is a child protection charitable trust dedicated to preventing harm to children through education and awareness and provides advice, resources and education programmes to inspire adults to take action to protect children.
