About the Author

Doug MacLeod has written 26 books, several of which have been illustrated by Craig Smith, including the award-winning bestseller Sister Madge's Book of Nuns, The Birdsville Monster, and Spiky Spunky My Pet Monkey. His most recent novels for children and teenagers include Siggy and Amber, Tumble Turn, Kevin the Troll, The Clockwork Forest and 2011 Children's Book Council of Australia Honour Book The Life of a Teenage Body Snatcher.
