Editor Biographies Melissa Luke, Ph.D. is Associate Professor and School Counseling Program Coordinator in the Department of Counseling and Human Services at Syracuse University. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor, an Approved Clinical Supervisor, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York. She currently serves as the President of the North Atlantic Region of ACES and Professional Trustee in ALGBTIC. Dr. Luke's scholarship focuses on counselor preparation and practice to more effectively respond to the needs of underserved persons. Dr. Luke is also the Associate Editor of the Journal of Counselor Leadership and Advocacy. Kristopher M. Goodrich, Ph.D. is the Program Coordinator and Associate Professor of Counselor Education at the University of New Mexico. He is a Nationally Certified Counselor, an Approved Clinical Supervisor, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New Mexico. Dr. Jacobs has received the ASGW Professional Advancement Award, was selected as an ASGW Fellow, and received the 2012 Outstanding JSGW Article. Dr. Jonathan Orr is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of the Mental Health Counseling program at Georgia State University. He is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. Dr. Deborah Rubel is an Associate Professor of Counselor Education at Oregon State University. Dr. Christine J. Schimmel is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling and Counseling Psychology at West Virginia University.
