Born in Germany and raised by nuns in a Catholic Church, Lisa has been a fleet-fingered crocheter since the age of six when she learned crochet in the first grade. Lisa now lives in Louisiana on a beautiful lake and her fingers are still flying through yarn. Lisa meets with a lively group of crocheters who share new ideas, techniques and supplies. She also teaches crocheting at a local library.
I always look out for the Annie's Christmas releases, because no
one knows how to celebrate the Christmas holiday season like the
Americans, right? In this book you will find 15
'jolly' projects for home and gifts. All presented in traditional
colours and all based around the granny square. I particularly like
the stocking project and the tree skirt. This would be
an excellent book for the older child who wants to make projects
for their family as gifts for christmas. My inspiration is seeing
the granny back in action in these lovely candy cane colours.
Because we all know by now that granny squares rock! Is
anyone organised enough to have even started thinking about
Christmas crochet project? if so this book is for you!

Find 15 Christmas-themed crochet projects using granny squares.
Designs include a tree skirt, cushion, scarf, Xmas stocking, a
throw, family mitts, photo frames, a wrap, baby hat, mug wrap and
coaster, bunting and decorations. The projects include skill level,
full instructions and colour photos. Crocheted in red and green
they look very suitable for Christmas, but some of the designs like
the scarf would work all year round and would look very
different in other colours. They make fantastic home accessories or
can be used as gifts. There is a metric conversion chart and stitch
guide too.
