About the Author

Ellen Brown, the author of more than 20 cookbooks, gained the national limelight in 1982 as the founding food editor of USA Today. Her books include Gourmet Gazelle Cookbook, winner of the IACP Award, and Cooking with the New American Chefs, a Tastemaker Award finalist. She lives in Providence, Rhode Island.
