About the Author

Marisa Garau (born in 1968) is the daughter of a Dutch mother and a Sardinian father. For over a decade she ran her own advertising agency in Amsterdam much the way that a mouse runs its own treadmill. Only after years of senseless complaining did this full-time stress junkie decide to sort out her unhealthy attitude and she signed up for a course of mindfulness training. Since then her life has changed profoundly: Marisa moved from busy Holland to beautiful New Zealand and is now a dedicated, happy author and publisher.
