Chris Davies Curtis now lives in the Whangaparaoa Peninsula just north of Auckland New Zealand, after an interesting lifetime of travel and working as a District Nurse in many parts of the world. She now has turned to writing, using her experiences in her four 'Memoirs' and five 'Romances.' She has always held a Christian faith, which has seen her through some dark days. When asked to write a historical novel to celebrate the centenary of the little Chapel of St Stephen the Martyr near her home, she saw this as a chance to reach believers and non-believers alike. She has created a readable account of the Chapel's history, while creating characters that might have lived in the Peninsula a hundred years ago based on people she has met or read about.
