In 2011, Michael "Bret" Hood was chosen to be part of a select team dedicated to developing new executive leadership development programs for the FBI. Drawing on his 25 years of experience as a special agent, supervisor and leader in the FBI, Bret took new and unique approaches to designing, developing, and implementing completely interactive instructional blocks designed to leverage the personal experiences of participants to drive learning. For his efforts, Bret received FBI Director awards for innovation and knowledge. Bret has served as an adjunct professor of leadership for the University of Virginia teaching leadership and ethics course on both the undergraduate and graduate level. As an advanced master instructor and facilitator for the FBI, Bret created ten-week innovative and completely interactive programs to further the leadership development of domestic and international law enforcement executives who attended the prestigious FBI National Academy. To date, Bret has also led approximately 50 United States delegations to foreign countries to instruct and share knowledge with our foreign law enforcement counterparts. This book is designed to provide an experience similar to Bret's leadership classes with the goal being to provoke thought, question perceptions and perspectives, engage in deep self-assessment, and most of all.....to have fun. Bret continues to travel the world training public and private sector entities on leadership as well as financial crime and other topics through his web site, www.21puzzles.com.
