teenage boys, I can't say enough about the activities contained in
this book. The authors have taken the foundational concepts of
literacy and created engaging, age-appropriate activities for
teenagers that specifically target those core areas. This book is
extremely practical and will definitely be a go-to resource in my
teaching practice and at home with my boys." --Michelle McIntosh,

"This is a clever little book! Gavin Reid always produces useful
and interesting books on dyslexia, and he has found an excellent
collaborator and co-author in Jenn Clark. This book is full of
excellent ideas based on study-skills principles valuable to those
struggling with dyslexia-related challenges. The phonological-based
tasks are great, and the tests and strategies would benefit not
only our students but educators as well. Each section is presented
in a clear, friendly fashion, and the ideas follow scaffolding
techniques and astute skill repetition to support learning." --John
Everatt, PhD, professor and member of International Academy for
Research in Learning Disabilities
