duopress labs is the creative team, led by Mauricio
Velázquez de León, responsible for writing and developing dozens of
books and games. Recent titles include 100 Pablo Picassos; My
Fridge; Hello, Ocean Friends; My New York Puzzle; My San Francisco
Puzzle; Match it! San Francisco; and Match it! Paris. Mauricio has
written for Lonely Planet, Chouette, PowerKids Press, and the
magazines Gourmet and Saveur. He resides wherever he can find a
good Wi-Fi connection and strong coffee, mostly in the eastern
United States.
Jesús Escudero has been working as a professional
illustrator for more than a decade. His work can be enjoyed in many
books, advertising, and periodicals, such as Le Vif (Belgium) or
The Washington Post. Colour and strong characters are features of
his illustrations. Jesús splits his time between his native Spain
