Liza Chu is a Hong Kong native who began working in her family's Chinese restaurant from the age of 13. After studying in Australia, she spent time living in Japan and the United States. She now lives in Hong Kong where she teaches Chinese language and culture to expats. Her regular dim sum excursions with her students prompted the creation of her visual guidebook to Cantonese cuisine.
