Written and laid out in a simple-to-read fashion, the book avoids
medical terminology and statistics. Intended primarily for
laypersons, the book provides concise but simple to understand
information about depression. It draws on the knowledge gained from
biological and psychosocial research as well as the extensive
clinical experience of the author.
