Robin Bowles is a true crime expert. She has tackled some of the most high profile crimes in Australian including BLIND JUSTICE, about the death of a Victorian housewife, Allen & Unwin, 1984; JUSTICE DENIED, about the murder of Victorian child Jaidyn Leskie, Pan, 1999, TAKEN IN CONTEMPT, about the kidnapping of children during custody battles, Pan 2000, and WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO FREEDA HAYES, about the euthanasia killing of a Perth woman, Pan 2002. She has four grown up sons and lives in Melbourne with her husband. She is 57 and the national convenor of Sisters in Crime Australia Inc.
