"Hart's delightful 18th mystery starring Minneapolis restaurateur Jane Lawless . . . Buttressed by distinctive characters and a splendid Minnesota setting, the well-constructed plot builds to a satisfying conclusion." --Publishers Weekly "Hail, hail, the gang's all here in the newest title in Hart's popular, long-running series featuring lesbian amateur sleuth/restaurant owner Jane Lawless. . . . both devotees of Hart's engrossing series and new readers will enjoy, enjoy every lively page." --Booklist "Hart has consistently maintained a level of excellence throughout her 18 Lawless mysteries. (She) never overplays Jane's lesbianism. It is just a fact of life in this truly engaging mystery series." --Library Journal "keeps the tension ratcheted up until the very last page. . . . And I loved that. No boring last chapter, no words of wisdom from the detective . . . just delicious tension and an unrelenting urge to read the next one. Right now." --Out in Print
