Irene Ingersoll has been passionate about teaching students with disabilities for the past 34 years. She recently retired from High Point University in North Carolina, USA where she worked for 9 years. During this time she was the Disability Coordinator for the college serving over 400 students with disabilities, as well as an academic success coach, and she also taught a college study skills course to freshmen college students. She is currently working part time as a college consultant, helping students with disabilities find the right college fit and guiding these students to use college accommodations and academic resources. She lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
