About the Author

Patricia Kirpatrick's poetry has earned her poetry fellowships from the NEA, the Bush Foundation, the Minensota State Arts Board, and the Loft. She teaches in the MFA program at Hamline University, where she is 2003 Poetry Editor for WATER-STONE magazine. She also teaches at Macalester College.
