About the Author

"Bright Ideas For Young Minds" is written by the teachers of New Zealand's largest early learning provider, BestStart Educare. In New Zealand for over 21 years, the dedicated educators at BestStart have nurtured and cared for approximately 75,000 New Zealand children. BestStart is owned by a charitable trust, the Wright Family Foundation, with over 275 centres nationwide attended annually by around 19,000 families. Every BestStart centre is unique. Each of our centres acknowledges, engages with and celebrates the diversity of its families and community. Centres work with the early childhood curriculum Te Whariki, supporting children to build the foundation for life-long learning as they begin their education journey.
