Chelsea was first introduced to Bible Journaling in 2016. The practice excited her and she immediately felt drawn to meditating in this fashion in the Word of God. Being a mother of three, she soon realized that her children would have to be involved in the process. And thus, Bible Journaling with Kids was born! She remarks, "It is my prayer that this book will be a tool to encourage people to jump creatively into the Bible. After all, we were all made by a master creator Himself!"
Bible Journaling with Kids is a terrific first doorway into a lifelong relationship with Scripture. Chelsea Wojcik's easygoing and colorful instructions invite children (and adults) to immerse themselves "hands first" into the biblical story. Using everyday art supplies, ribbon, tapes, stickers, and even vegetables, children will explore seven themes of Scripture and dozens of Bible verses in visual and tactile ways. The goal of illustrating and illuminating the pages is not to "pretty up" the Bible but to absorb the Word through both words and images. Children will encounter the Bible not as an untouchable sacred relic, but as an intimate and trustworthy friend.Sybil MacBeth is the author of Praying in Color: Drawing a New Path to God. Reading through Bible Journaling with Kids has sparked something inside my heart to get my kids more involved in my form of worship. Chelsea Wojcik did a great job explaining the ins and outs to Bible journaling with your kids using techniques and great verses to meditate on! Getting close to the Lord while growing closer to your kids is such an amazing feeling!Brittany Carleton, Journaling Through Motherhood As a Christian homeschool mom, I've been brainstorming ways to incorporate the Word into our school curriculum in a creative way, but I've come up with nil...until I read Bible Journaling with Kids! This is an inspiring guide for parents who, like me, struggle with getting their young kids into the Word with structure and creativity. It was exactly what my homeschool mom heart has been looking for!Amanda Schenkenberger, Bible Journaling Teacher at Move the Mountains
