A popular comedy performer, Russo grew up memorizing Scripture⁠-partly in his pursuit to understand God's Word, but probably more so in his pursuit of badges for his Awana vest. In addition to authoring the book Curiosities and (Un)common Sense from the Bible- 60 Devotions, he is an ordained minister and the creative director and director of online ministry at Calvary Church in Clearwater, Florida. He and his wife, Rachael, live in Seminole, Florida, and have two children.
