About the Author

John Hopkins is programme leader for Textile, Fashion and Fibre at the Winchester School of Art. He studied Fashion and Textiles at St Martin's School of Art and has worked internationally as a fashion designer for well-known labels such as Jaeger and Burberry. He is currently engaged in research into sustainable design.
