Another YA fantasy title based off the best-selling manga Attack on Titan. A sequel to the manga following two of the original comic's most beloved characters- Mikasa and Annie.
Hajime Isayama 9born August 29, 1986) is a Japanese comic artist. He is currently one of the best selling authors in the world with 52.5 million copies in circulation as of July 2015. A graphic designer by education he submitted a comic to Kodansha's Magazine Grand Prix in 2006 and his project "Attack on Titan" the Fine Work award. At age twenty, he moved to Tokyo and worked at an internet cafe in order to pursue a career in manga. In 2009, his first serial Attack on Titan began its serialization in the monthly Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. It won the Shonen category of the 35th Kodansha Manga Award in 2011 and was nominated for both the 4th annual Manga Taisho award and the 16th annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize. It has since then become an international best-seller and the inspiration for the highly rated television series (broadcast in the US by the Cartoon Network and NetFlix).
