The Gaulish village is a constant thorn in Caesar’s side, and now
the Senate in Rome has turned against him because he’s been unable
to bring Asterix and his fellow villagers to heel. So Caesar turns
for help to Mìrùnus Gamhlus, a nasty piece of work who can sow
discord wherever he goes. Through mischievous means he introduces
the green-eyed monster into the Gaulish village. As the Gauls turn
against each other, Asterix, Obelix and the druid Oghamaix turn
their back on the village, taking the magic potion with them. The
Romans seize this opportunity to attack…
