Scott Shrader's landscape designs are borne out of an
intuitive ability to connect with the interior 'heart' of the home;
resulting in an exterior environment that flows naturally,
stylishly and serenely from this core. With careful consideration
of his client's desires, Scott produces gardens, outdoor
entertainment spaces and relaxing atmospheres specifically designed
for those using them. His breadth of knowledge about design and
concept come from both a master's degree in landscape architecture
and an undergraduate degree in urban planning. His projects include
homes, ranches, estates and wellness retreats in Los Angeles,
Malibu, Montecito, Wyoming, Hawaii and Croatia.

"California landscape designer Shrader presents outdoor spaces in his home state, including his own, as lushly verdant rooms where meals, entertaining, and general lounging are all the more luxuriant under ivy and boughs. The book taps into an aspiration, says Rizzoli publisher Charles Miers, to 'take down the wall between garden and house.'" --PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
