About the Author

River Lee Hess resides in the Duryea Mountains of Pennsylvania and spends most of his time by the water. He enjoys kayaking, swimming and traveling the country. Having grown up in rural Pennsylvania, River has always had a desire to venture out and see the world. He enjoys the excitement of traveling from city to city and meeting a wide range of people. As a small child, River spent most of his time playing by himself, lost in his stories, visualizing an alternate world in which the characters he created were so real, he could almost feel their intense emotions. He is currently similarly enthralled in the world of Tarny Mulligan and is hard at work on the third and final book in the series.
